RETURNS & REFUND POLICY
atelier-caricature.co.uk · Last updated: June 2026
Every order includes a sketch approval stage. Nothing is printed without your explicit go-ahead. This is our primary quality guarantee — and the reason genuine defect claims are rare.
PERSONALISED GOODS — YOUR RIGHTS
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, personalised and made-to-order goods are exempt from the standard 14-day right to cancel once production has begun. All products on this site are personalised — made specifically for you based on the photo and instructions you provide.
This means:
- Before sketch approval: You may cancel your order and receive a full refund at any time
- After sketch approval: Production has begun — cancellation is not available unless the finished product is defective
WHEN WE WILL OFFER A REFUND OR REPRINT
We will offer a full reprint or refund if:
- There is a printing defect (colour error, misalignment, damage in transit)
- The product arrives damaged
In these cases, contact us within 14 days of receiving your order at sebrieu@yahoo.fr with your order number and a photo of the issue. We will respond within 2 working days.
WHEN WE CANNOT OFFER A REFUND
We cannot offer a refund if:
- You approved the sketch and the finished artwork faithfully reproduces it
- The likeness is affected by a low-quality photo you submitted
- You simply change your mind after production has begun
- The product has been used or washed (for mugs and socks)
DAMAGED IN TRANSIT
If your order arrives damaged, please photograph the packaging and the product and contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement at no cost to you.
